Two Malayalam films. Tap the one that was released first.
The game never ends, but one wrong answer ends your run. Your score is how many you get right in a row.
It gets harder as you go: every two right answers the two releases come closer together, from 15 or more years apart down to less than a month. The line above the cards tells you how far apart they are.

The dates
Each date is the earliest release on record, which is sometimes a Gulf or festival screening a little before the Kerala release. A film whose exact date isn't known is only paired with films the order is certain for.
Hits and well-liked lesser-known films both turn up.
